Why donate in Oh-Eight?
Here's why you could literally be impacting the election by contributing today:
- The experts increasingly say the election will hinge on youth turnout.
- The young people we reach aren't reflected in the polls because no one
"expects" them to vote. But the League has proven its ability to mobilize these so-called "unlikely" voters.
- These young voters in OH, PA, WI, FL, ME and MN could literally change the outcome of the election.
- Amazingly, youth voter groups are terribly underfunded this year. And most major efforts in place are only focused on turning out "college-track" young people.
- But the League is registering and turning out "non-college" young people that few other groups can reach.
- Adopt a Swing State canvasser: Every $500 donated puts a canvasser on the ground in a swing state to identify, educate, register, contact, and turn out voters. That directly means more young people turning out to vote.
