Respected pollster Stan Greenberg at the Democracy Corps elaborates on what many of us have known for a long time; that young people have genuine concerns about their future lives, and are engaged in the political process to effect change and address those concerns. According to Greenberg, "impressive majorities of young people defy the cynical stereotypes of this generation and predict major changes..."
A record 69% percent of young people indicate they are likely to vote in the presidential elections--which means that the youth vote has the potential to affect the outcome of the election!
