So we all know that it's not enough to simply register to vote...we have to get out on Election Day (November 4th) and vote.

We also know that some people need a little more coaxing than that. So, all of us that are willing to take one for the team - by taking election day off to make sure as many young folks as possible get out to the polls - we're going down the government center and voting early.

We want a massive amount of young folks to come out and let people know that not only do we care about issues, not only do we care about politics, not only do we care about who's in office - WE ARE GOING TO BE GRINDING ON ELECTION DAY to make sure young folks get out in records numbers to the polls!

Who: YOU! All the young people that are taking Election Day off to help with various GOTV efforts, young folks that are too young to vote, not registered (You can register on Election Day), or can't vote for whatever reason - Even if you're not a Hennepin County voter!

What: It's a Parade

When: Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Gather at 3:00pm, Parade Starts at 3:30, Voting at Government Center by 4:00pm.

Where: Gather on the Hennepin Avenue Bridge; Route will take us down Hennepin to 6th & then Left down 6th to the Government Center (300 6th street South).
