About the League
The League is a family of national organizations that support young people to build power to solve problems in their communities. We work with young people who have been shut out of the political process to make politics fun, engaging, relevant, and meaningful. We educate and register voters, write and distribute voter guides, lobby elected officials, and organize communities around issues that affect us. The League is a dynamic, fast-paced organization with several different programs, a talented program staff, and about 10 local city affiliates.
The League of Young Voters Education Fund (LYVEF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization engaging young people under 35 in the democratic process through voter education, trainings, leadership development, and by providing support to existing youth, cultural and student organizations to include voter organizing in their work.
The League of Young Voters (LYV) is a 501(c)4 advocacy organization for young people under 35 to build a progressive governing majority in our lifetime. We develop leaders and build political power to create public policies which reflect our core values: family, community, inclusion, freedom, equality, sustainable jobs and peace.
Please visit http://theleague.com and http://youngvoter.org for more information.
