A political action group is launching an interactive video voter guide on its Web site to keep young voters informed for the upcoming primary elections.
The online guide by the Pittsburgh branch of the Pennsylvania League of Young Voters includes a questionnaire and videos of candidates answering questions."The two top reasons young people don't vote are that nobody asks them and that they don't feel like they have enough information about candidates to make educated choices," said Khari Mosley, state director for the organization. "Now, we are providing them with information about candidates in a medium that is very familiar to them."The video voter guide can be found through the group's Web site at http://www.pittsburgh.indyvoter.org.The organization contacted all the candidates in all the races and will be updating both the video voter guide and the complete voter guide throughout the campaign season, officials said.
