It's 2009, and look how far we've come. The Youth PROMISE Act will make juvenile justice a reality and provide real alternatives to jail for our peers. The New Energy Jobs Alliance is retrofitting houses in Maine and lobbying for more money in alternative fuel sources.

Our Brooklyn League ran a viral campaign to help shut down the proposed MTA Doomsday budget and our California crew distributed thousands of voter guides to help stop the nightmare budget cuts in the May 19th California special election.

We pledge to follow these legislative actions all the way through the halls of Congress, but it will take hard work.  We will have to lobby and organize for months to convince our representatives to prioritize new energy solutions, equal rights and fair pay.

Ever been touched by the League? If you've ever used a League voter guide, been a part of our trainings, or been registered to vote by a Leaguer, now is the time you can give back.  Become a monthly donor and stick with us for the long haul.

We pledge to stand with you...will you stand with us?
