The League is on the prowl for bloggers!
We're searching for people who already write their own blog, or people who are dyin' to try their hand at bloggin' to write for our League blog!
As you know, the League has a blog. It’s gotten a lot of attention throughout its existence, but we haven’t been able to update it very often with our own content. Mostly, we find out a Leaguer has already written about something totally sweet and amazing and relevant to Maine politics, and we ask if we can also post it on our blog, with a link to the Leaguer’s original blog.
We’re not abandoning this method, as it’s a great way to keep Leaguers connected and informed about what’s going on in our world of Portland and Maine. We’re just aware that we need some consistent writers who want to really lay it all out there for us on our blog.
So: if you already write consistently for a blog, what’s the URL? Can we cross-post information from that blog onto ours, with a link back to the original source?
Maybe you don’t already have a blog: great! Got some time to write weekly or bi-weekly exploits throughout Maine? Maybe you went to the Maine People’s Alliance Awards Dinner, and were inspired by the keynote. Maybe you took the bus around town and want to relay that experience. Maybe you went to a City Council meeting and had some feelings about the decisions made there. Whatever it is, we’d love you to write about it, and we’ll give you full credit—it’s your writing! We just want you to let us showcase you.
