There's a lot at stake on June 8th!  The best kept secret of the election is that bond questions 2, 3, 4, and 5 will help support more sustainable communities in Maine.  These bonds are Maine's homegrown economic recovery package, helping to create jobs while at the same time helping to protect the environment.  Voting "YES" on 2, 3, 4, and 5 will provide critical funding for green jobs, energy conservation, sustainable transportation, community revitalization and clean water.

Question #2 – Clean Energy and Green Jobs
$26,500,000 for offshore wind, green jobs and energy savings at our public colleges and universities. Leverages $24.5 million in federal funds.

Question #3 – Sustainable Transportation
$47,800,000 to improve Maine’s roads, railroads and marine facilities.

Question #4 – Communities for Maine's Future
$23,750,000 to provide targeted investments in the down towns,  Main Streets, and village centers where we live and work.  Leverages $39 million in matching funds.

Question #5 – Clean Water
$10,250,000 for improved drinking water quality and to protect the environment. Leverages $33,250,000 in federal and other funds.
