As was discussed at the Wednesday, July 28, 2010 Public Meeting on the Franklin Street Corridor Phase II Study, participants that wish to make additional comments on the draft Scope of Services are invited to forward any additional comments to Markos Miller, Co-Chair of the Phase I Franklin Study, via his email address. The Draft Scope of Services can be found on the City of Portland’s website at www.portlandmaine.gov and select City Council, select committees and boards, and select Franklin St Corridor Study Committee. Markos has agreed to receive any remaining comments about the Scope and forward those on to the City/MeDOT and PACTS study team for further evaluation and consideration. It is asked that comments be submitted to Markos on or before Tuesday, August 13, 2010 in order to finalize the Scope and initiate the Phase II Study.

Markos Email address is: markossmiller@hotmail.com

The goal with seeking remaining comments is to ensure any major elements of the Phase II Study that is critical to the feasibility evaluation of the three (3) alternative concepts designs developed during the Phase I Study have not been missed.

The City of Portland, MeDOT, and PACTS, appreciate your continued interest with this important study and your comments about the draft Scope of Services. And a special thank you to Markos for volunteering to collect any remaining comments about the Scope of Services on the Phase II work.
