We love voting here at the League--it's sorta what we do! We also recognize that Election Day can be absolutely chaotic for some folks. And that's why we feel strongly about voting early! By requesting an absentee, or going into your town or city hall on after October 15 (call ahead--this changes by municipality!). Vote, and make yourself heard. Vote Early, and keep your life simple!

The current Voter Registration system is a nightmare. Election Officials are overwhelmed by paperwork; the information is hard to keep up to date; each State has their own unique process, which can make cause problems on the National level... And these problems primarily affect voters who are already disenfranchised, such as low-income folks, youth, seniors, folks with disabilities...! Voter Registration Modernization is a movement to take of these problems, and allow voter registration to be equal ground for everyone. Learn more here!
