The theme is Global Warming Solutions for America. This is a national action through "Focus the Nation" to mobilize youth and learning institutions around this issue. So far, this looks to be the nations largest teach-in day in US history, with over 1500 institutions participating, drawing parallels to similiar actions in the 1960's. Talks will range from sustainable artistic practices to genetically engineered food, body movement work to social movement organizing.
