League Volunteer Opportunities

Scope out the great volunteer opportunities below!

Volunteer Recruiters:

There will be a phonebank held each Monday and Wednesday night (5:30-7:30p) thru the month of May. We will be calling our members looking to fill volunteer shifts for phonebanks, tabling, data entry and canvasses.

Phonebank Leaders:

Learn how to lead a phonebank. You will learn how to train volunteers to participate in phonebanks held each Monday and Wednesday night (5:30-7:30p)

Techno Guru Data Enterers: (these are during phonebanks or whenever you can)

Through the month of May and into June we will be out in our community signing up many new League supporters. All of the data we collect will need to be inputted into our data base so these new peeps can get all our sexy e-blasts so we can get them out to VOTE.

First Friday Artwalk Voter Guide Distributors:

On June 6th, (5:30-7p) we will be out in the Arts District checking out local art, passing out our voter guides, and consuming free cheese and wine. WhoooT!

Canvass Captains:

Learn to lead a volunteer canvass. You will learn how to train volunteers to go door-to-door and seek League support from our community and GET-OUT-THE-VOTE!

Get your ‘hood to VOTE door-knockers (a.k.a. canvassers): see above for times

Help The League gain support from your community by going door-to-door and talking to peeps in Portland about voting and passing out our voter guides.

June 10th GET-OUT-THE-VOTE – ALL HANDS ON DECK

Phonebankers (9am-7pm) and visibility teams (as people are going to work (7-9a) and again as peeps are getting out of work and before the polls close (5-7p): This is it. All the work we’ve been doing has led to this day. We need to talk to all the supporters we’ve gained and make sure they GET TO THE POLLS. We also need a couple teams of 5 to hold VOTE signs around town.
