Thats right LIC-ers, this tuesday we will be combining the LIC meeting
with the BikePed's meeting to strategize together how to fight the
expansion of highways and bring real mass-transit to Maine.
Remember how we keep asking "how can we help??" well we got your answer...
We
are meeting with our allies over at BikePed because there are TWO very
important dates approaching that we need to start organizing for.
1) January 30th. The public meeting on the '295 report" which
is likely to be very influential on the planning decisions that are
made in the State.
2) February 12th. The "PACTS High
Priorities Hearing". Because of YOUR hard work, PACTS is holding a
public hearing on their priorities. This is a HUGE opportunity for us
to advocate for funding mass transit.
