Trick or Vote!
Summer's drawing to a close, and that means that kids go back to school, leaves turn orange...and Halloween is just around the corner! Trick or Vote wants you to help get out the vote on Oct. 31, door to door and face to face. Help mobilize voters(and get free candy while you're at it), and then get together for an all star gala with music and celebrities. But hurry up, October will be here before you know it!
Studies have proven that face to face contact increases voter turnout by 8-12%. And what better day to engage people face to face than on Halloween, when they expect oddly dressed strangers to knock on their door. Since Halloween falls a few days before Election day, this will be a great opportunity to get some last minute stragglers to the polls. So head on over to Trick or Vote and sign up! Training begins in early October, and you don't want to miss out!
