Field Director
League of Young Voters (LYV) &
League of Young Voters Education Fund (LYVEF)

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate implementation and evaluation of field plan for LYVEF/LYV, including data management, field trainings, voter registration, education and mobilization, and legislative programs.
- Recruit, train, manage and evaluate field staff.
Build and maintain strategic and tactical relationships and alliances with key organizations. - Cultivate knowledge of tools and technologies to increase constituent engagement.
May need to support local groups in fundraising, and support development staff in fundraising as needed. - Represent LYVEF/LYV at conferences, trainings, workshops.
Coach organizers and ensure that they are properly trained. - Coordinate National Council.
- Facilitate some meetings and strategy sessions.
- Work within the ethics of sustainability, leadership development, respect for local autonomy.
- Report regularly to Executive Director with written documentation of results.
Experience
- Highly developed skills in field organizing (community, union, electoral, campus, etc) and campaigns.
- Experience working in multiple communities, especially low-income communities of color.
- Management experience.
