In today’s world, “Going Green” is a high priority topic.  The environment has an effect on us all, and doing the best thing when it comes to our environment will get more positive attention in the years to come.

There is more to “Going Green” than saving the planet from global warming.  Within “Green” is the opportunity to save money and create an environment that creates healthy lifestyles.

Imagine going to your backyard for the fruits and vegetables, watering your garden with water you caught from a recent rain fall. 

Imagine solar panels on the roof of your home that would produce enough electricity to power your home daily.

Though these things take effort and know how, they can transform your life and save money in the long and short term.  Unfortunately, we are accustomed to consuming energy with out awareness of the effects on our lives and the planet.

It is a New Day!

No longer should we subject ourselves to high energy bills and toxic environments due to lack of knowledge.  Information and opportunity surrounds us on the daily.  It is up to us to take steps to secure healthy environments for our kids – the future.

Campaign Against Violence are taking the necessary steps to inform and engage our neighbors about the benefits of a Green Municipality.  By huge investments in infrastructure and the environment, Milwaukee can become one of the leaders in Green Cities, which present opportunities to create green jobs and businesses in these turbulent times.
