CAV protests the Milwaukee school board turning schools into prisons
The Milwaukee school board is considering handcuffs as a tactic for controlling their students. The Milwaukee League's Campaign Against Violence showed up at the school board meeting on May 1 to warn them to keep the cuffs off our kids.
"These are not animals, they're children," said Jayme Montgomery of CAV. "They're human beings and they need help. They need you all come up with more creative ways to engage them in school."
